The Technical Committee on Covid 19 Taraba State has announced that there are no new cases recorded beside the two cases remaining among the recorded cases so far.
The State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Innocent Vakkai said this while addressing members of the Press in the capital city yesterday.
The two cases are currently receiving treatment at the Specialist Hospital and the Federal Medical Centre Jalingo. Both patients are responding well to treatment he said.
Dr. Vakkai also reminded Tarabans that the lockdown in the state is still on and citizens should continue to abide by the Covid 19 guidelines as laid down by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the government. He emphasized that, the lockdowns days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively.
The Commissioner also urged citizens to stay home during these days and continue to observe social distancing and use their face masks appropriately.
He thanked the press for their efforts and urged them to never relent in their efforts as it is for the good of the state.
