Former Nigerian Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has bagged been made a special envoy for Mali.
The appointment came from the ECOWAS in a letter signed by the president of its commission, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou.
With a view to resolving the worsening socio-political situation in Mali, former president Goodluck Jonathan has been appointed as a special envoy for the West African Nation. The high-profile appointment was given to Jonathan on Tuesday, July 14, by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)
As part of his duties, the former Nigerian leader is to convene a series of talks with all President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, opposition bigwigs, civil society as well as religious bodies.
