Nigeria’s sensational striker, Victor Osimhen has been offered a 5-year contract at SSC Napoli.
The deal is set to be around the region of 70 million Euros, with other performance add ons totalling about 80 million Euros, with an option of additional one year.
The deal makes the striker the most expensive African player ever, and the most expensive transfer so far, within the current transfer window.
The record of the most expensive African player was held by Nicolas Pepe, who signed for Arsenal FC last summer.
Osimhen’s 18 goals across all competitions, despite French league’s incompletion was enough to keep LOSC Lille in fourth position on the log and ensure they are qualified for a European competition.
Osimhen won best African player in the French league one, an award Nicolas Pepe had won last season before moving to Arsenal.
