It is no longer new that so many scandals have rocked the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in the past few days, with the highest point of it being the collapse of a professor in a panel probe.
As though those dramas were not enough, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila stated that the collapsed professor will not be invited for questioning again.
On their own part, a group identified as Human Rights Writers Association (HURIWA), has expressed dissatisfaction with the trends.
The group also calls for the arrest of the Minister, Senator Godswill Akpabio, the members of NDDC Interim Management Committe, along with lawmakers.
The above opinion is contained in a statement from the group’s National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko and National Media Affairs Director, Miss Zainab Yusuf.
