The Opposition Party PDP has called for immediate resignation of the Vice President Yemi Osibanjo following an alleged indictment in the probe of Magu.
Earlier report by Pointblacknews alleged that Osibanjo received N4billion recovered funds from the suspended acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
But in a statement signed by his media aide, Laolu Akande, the Vice President denied the allegation, describing it as fake news and misleading.
Dr. Emeka Kalu, the National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party Youth Alliance (PDPYA) canvassed this position in a statement made available to journalists.
The party further called on Yakubu Mahmoud, Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to resign over purported plan to rig the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State in favour of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
