The above is one of the questions asked by the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Yakubu Dogara, as he explains why he dumped PDP
Hon. Dogara dumped the opposition party last week amidst many criticisms, with the most obvious coming from his ward’s PDP chairman who claimed that he never knew that Dogara has left the party.
In defense of his decision, the lawmaker has written a press release explaining why he left the party.
According to him, all the anomalies in the previous administrations which he fought against by joining PDP is still observed in the present PDP administration in Bauchi state.
He further explained that traditional rulers are not treated as they are supposed to be treated, and stated lack of disbursement of local governments’ funds, poor management of funds and questionable award of contracts among his reasons.
He further explained that it would be difficult for him to remain in the party after asking such questions, as he may be charged for party disloyalty.
