Koeman Assumes Duty As Barcelona Head Coach

The management of FC Barcelona has officially announced Ronald Koeman as the head coach of the team.

The new manager, in his speech, expressed satisfaction and has vowed to ensuring that Messi remains a pivot point of the team.

Ronald Koeman played for FC Barcelona, he was a midfielder and defender and scored 88 goals for them in his over 250 appearances.

The Dutchman had been an assistant coach for Barca and the Netherlands before becoming a head coach.

As a head coach, he has managed teams like Feyenoord, Valencia, PSV, Southampton, Everton and the Netherlands.

He won many honours as a player and a manager, including the award of Premiership manager of the month on three occasions.

Meanwhile, his elder brother and his father also played football.
