Lance corporal Ibrahim Babangida has been sentenced to 55 years improvement for the murder of a World Health Organisation (WHO) worker.

The incidence took place in 2014 in one of the efforts to ensure peace and stability in Zamfara state.
The convict was said to have murdered his victim and carted away his valuables, including car, laptop and other items.
The verdict was pronounced by Major General Priye Fakorogha, the head of the Army court martial.
