In what started out like a keen contest, Spain finally humiliated Germany in their UEFA Nations’ league group match.

Prior to the meeting, Germany has 9 points and needed just a draw to progress, while Spain had 6 points and needed to win.

Alvaro Morata opened the scoring before the match went from bad to worse, leading to Ferran Torres getting a hat trick.

The match, which ended 6-0 in favour of Spain, is remains Germany’s worst defeat since 1931, and same for both the keeper, Manuel Neuer and the coach Joachim Loew.
