The former Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose has said he has never at any time nursed the ambition of being a senator but to become Nigeria’s president or a cleric.

He feels it is a total waste of time to make laws that the executives will not implement
He dreams bigger and aim higher and by the grace of God his ambition will soon see the light of the day.
The former governor feels “over-qualified” for the number 1 seat in Nigeria. According to him, if the likes of Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari could be so graced to be presidents, only time shall tell of his ambition.
According to him, his popularity, courageous spirit, unique contributions to the upliftment of Ekiti state and other remarkable contributions to lifting different categories of people with no hope of becoming anything in life across the country were enough a credential to making him become Nigeria’s president.

The former governor expressed confidence in his wife Feyisetan, he described her as a pillar in his political journey. He expressed gratitude to her for standing by him through thick and tin, stressing that her support and cooperation played important roles in his political life. With her support, the ambition to becoming a president or a pastor will be an easy task.
