The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has made known their plans to embark on a nationwide protest.
This is contained in a communique issued by the leadership of the association yesterday, following their meeting on Monday.
The intention is to fight against the ongoing ASUU strike, as it is to be tagged #End_ASUU_Strike protest.
The association noted that students are the losers, as their house rents will expire and their programme will be delayed, leading to disqualification for youth service and job opportunities.
The group also stated that they are giving the government and ASUU a 14-day ultimatum.
Meanwhile, the president of the group, Comrade Chidi Ilogebe, is expected to make a national broadcast to that effect.
They also threaten litigation to ensure that age restriction for both federal and state jobs are removed, and a waiver on school fees given for about two sessions.
